These are quick to fix, and they hit the spot for a tasty and healthy breakfast, afternoon or late night snack – enjoy!
1 ½ cup rolled oats
3 tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. ground cinnamon
2 tbsp. butter
2 – 16 oz. jars High J Orchards Chunky Applesauce
3 cups plain, vanilla or honey-sweetened Greek yogurt (or whipped cream)
3/4 cup (divided) chopped pecans, walnuts or other favorite nut
In a nonstick skillet, stir together the oats, ½ cup chopped nuts, sugar, cinnamon, and butter and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture is toasted and fragrant, about 5 minutes. Allow to cool.
In four bowls or large glasses, layer in the High J Orchards applesauce, oat mixture, and yogurt, until the container is full. Top each serving with the remaining ¼ cup chopped nuts and serve.
